Giving and Growing

There are many opportunities to give to Grande Ronde Academy through your time, talent and treasure. The school depends on this continued support for its success.

Your gift, regardless of type, is an investment in the mission of the school and helps us keep tuition affordable. Please take the time to pray with your family about these opportunities for direction from the Lord on how to be involved.

Thank you for your partnership in the work God has given us at Grande Ronde Academy!

Ways to Give

GRA Fundraisers!

Fundraising is a great way to support the school and give students access to unique opportunities throughout the year. It also provides families and students the opportunity to make an active effort in gaining financial support for the school. Below are ways that we can raise money for our school.

Hoop-A-Thon is our biggest student-driven fundraiser. The kids have a ton of fun while working hard to benefit the school.

If you’re new to Hoop-A-Thon, this is how it works…students gather pledges from friends, family or neighbors, even local businesses.

Sponsors can pledge either a fixed dollar amount or a per-basket amount. Every pledge counts and brings in much needed funds to help the school. When the day comes to shoot hoops, each student gets 5 minutes to make as many free-throws as he or she can. The basket distance and height as well as the ball size are adjusted based on the child’s age and ability. The EOU football student athletes are always present to help rebound for GRA students and shoot a few hoops of their own, in friendly competition.

Veteran's Day Fun Run

This event began in 2014 and is a family friendly run for runners of all ages and abilities. We wanted to create an event that brought our school families and local community families together for a day of fun and promoting recognition of our Veterans. Participants may choose to run in honor of a specific veteran. This event also helps raise our own students' awareness of the service and sacrifice our veterans have given.

The 5k and 10k run/walk and the 1 mile kids fun run courses take you through scenic neighborhoods in the community.

Whether you’re walking or running, a seasoned road racer or using the baby jogger; come join us for a day of fun and invigorating activity while honoring our veterans!

Mad Hatter's Tea Party

This event debuted in 2018 with the vision and creativity of Lorcinda Johnston. We felt that a tea party would be a perfect event for a Spring fundraiser. The event features individual table decorators who choose a theme and bring it to life with their table decor. Tickets are available primarily through the table decorators, however a small selection of tickets can be purchased directly from GRA.

The event itself features three courses of delightful treats and unique teas paired for each course. A silent auction and fun games occur throughout the event as well.

Each year we are blessed with help from the EOU Athletic Department, whose student athletes volunteer to serve at the event, adding a novel opportunity for attendees to interact with the students in our community.
