High School
Welcome!
We are excited to offer a Christian High School option in the Grande Ronde Valley.
Beginning with the 2021/2022 academic year, Grande Ronde Christian Academy introduced a hybrid high school program in partnership with Pensacola Christian Academy to bring Christian education at the high school level to families in our community. Students who choose this pathway will receive a diploma from Pensacola Christian Academy, a fully accredited program providing Christian education for over 60 years. In this format, class content is accessed via the web in an asynchronous manner allowing students to work at their own pace while enjoying the benefits of social connections and peer collaboration in a brick and mortar environment.
We are also working to provide this hybrid environment and the social benefits of a peer group for families who choose a different web-based education program. If you are interested in this opportunity for your child, please contact our Director for more information.

Admissions Process
Grande Ronde Christian Academy's mission is to provide a biblical worldview education for each student, that integrates academic excellence aimed at character growth and a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. This mission continues through the high school grades while allowing for age appropriate maturing, growth and development of our students. GRCA requires records or transcripts for students transferring from other programs, including documentation of any accommodations needed for learning success or disciplinary actions taken at prior institutions.
Our goal is to ensure successful completion of the program of study within a unique hybrid learning environment.
We welcome appointments for prospective students and parents to visit the classroom and get a feel for the curriculum and our learning environment. Please contact the office at 541-975-1147 to set up a time to tour and receive an admissions packet.

We use the term "Biblical Worldview" when speaking of the foundation for the Christian education at Grande Ronde Academy. Please read below to understand what it means to have a Biblical Worldview.
What is a Biblical Worldview:
A biblical worldview (or a Christian worldview) is a worldview based on God’s unchanging Word. Since God is the Creator of everything in heaven and earth, He is the standard for truth. God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and unchanging.
The Bible contains the words of God, and God is Truth. Therefore, we can trust what it says (John 17:17). 2 Timothy 3:16 states that “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God.” Inspiration means that God “breathed it out.” The Holy Spirit guided and directed humans to write down and preserve His words through Scripture.
A biblical worldview is not just a theoretical idea. A biblical worldview changes the way we respond to major events in the world. How do you respond to a natural disaster? How do you respond to traffic? What do you do if your fast food order is wrong? How do you respond to a terrorist attack? What is our response to political turmoil? Someone with a biblical worldview is going to respond to these events through the lens of Scripture. While others may have their worldview shaken after a disaster, a Christian will respond with trust in God’s wisdom, confidence in Christ’s future return, and zeal for spreading the gospel.
Christians don’t rely on a biblical worldview only when major events happen. A biblical worldview informs how Christians prioritize their time and money, respond to leadership, raise their children, and respond to hurtful words and comments. God’s Word is a guide for all of life.
