Student Involvement

The students of GRA are involved in many activities throughout the school!  Our students partake in a reading buddy program where the older students spend time reading with the younger students.  Each classroom takes turns leading our weekly chapel service.  This last fall, the 5th & 6th graders learned all about rocket building and constructed their own individual rockets.  The whole school turned out to watch the action!

In the fall of 2009, GRA hosted its first annual Fall Round-Up/Chili Cook-Off!  Parents, friends of GRA and community members all turned out to sample the delicious chili and to listen to our students' sing and to the Old Time Fiddlers fiddlin'.

The GRA 2009-2010 student council has implemented a paper recycling program to help our learning community incorporate conservation in the classroom.  Additionally, they recently sold hot chocolate to parents and community members as a fundraiser and headed up the Country Store at this year's Fall Round-Up.
