Curriculum
Grande Ronde Academy uses curriculum from A Beka Book and ACSI. Our core curriculum is Biblically-based and is from A Beka Book, which includes reading, math, spelling, phonics, writing, social studies, and science.
As we are an inter-denominational Christian school, all biblical teachings are Christ-centered with the purpose of enriching the lives of our students by showing them the love of Jesus Christ. Bible lessons are taught daily in every classroom using ACSI curriculum.
Grande Ronde Academy holds a chapel service weekly for grades K-8.
Music, Art & P.E. are taught weekly by our teaching specialists.
Field trips are scheduled throughout the school year to provide students with an opportunity to learn outside the classroom.

Stanford Achievement Testing
Standardized tests are administered each spring to students in grades K-8. We are currently using the Stanford Achievement Test; a standardized test covering several academic areas. GRA uses these scores to determine the effectiveness of curriculum, to determine the best educational level for our students, and to improve the quality of instruction.
